Toby is a 5 year old Chow Chow/ Australian Cattle Dog mix. He definitely loves to please and he is a quick learner. He knows how to sit, lay down, shake (either paw) and speak. He is crate trained, although he is good just being around the house by himself. Sometimes he is just sleeping in the crate all on his own with the door open. Toby listens really well and to be honest he is the “golden boy” as he NEVER gets in trouble. He LOVES the beach, in Carmel there is a beach where the dogs can be off leash and he runs into the ocean, frolics in the ocean, comes back and runs around the beach so happy. He is quirky; if someone has perfume on he will come up smell them and then dive into them putting the perfume smell on him. He protects the house and will alert when someone is outside. He will bark when someone knocks on the door, but he will listen when he is told to stop. He is great around other dogs and is not food aggressive.
